Instructions

Open Red Alert 3 through Steam, and check that it opened the C&C Online client instead and that Red Alert 3 has a checkmark in front of it in the Hook drop-down.

Now use the Red Alert 3 button to launch the game. It will take a while, but if you have everything setup correctly it should open without any errors.

First, you can get rid of this annoying initial notification forever, it only tells you that the online friends can be accessed by the star in the upper right corner.

Go to Online→Versus

Now use the credentials you’ve noted from one of the credential guides as your login details. You will need the Master Account Email, the Server Account Password, and the Online ID you can fill with whatever you want each time, as long as it’s not already in use by another logged player.
I would suggest leaving the “Remember my password” and “Auto login in the Future” options turned on so that you don’t have to login again next time. That is why is so important to save your credentials somewhere, you will never use them again and will very probably forget them until you buy a new computer or something.
Then just click Log In.

Sometimes, after logging in, it will just open the Friends and stuff instead of taking you to the Online→Versus. If that happens, just close the window and open Online→Versus again.

Now just use the Join Game and Host Game tabs to either join matches being crated by others or host a new one, respectively.

Then I shouldn’t have to tell you this, but if you really Rock you will use Soviets, and hit Ready! (Or Begin Game if you’re hosting) hahaha
